How We Started
Jeego was founded on a principle of friendship. Two ex uni mates, Will Walsh and Lorraine Stephenson, had a simple vision; they wanted to build their own company, fill it with fun, like minded, souls and avoid the suit wearing, corporate ladder climbing, daily slog that many of their friends were in. In 1999 Will spotted the opportunity to jump on the dot com boom, seeing the internet as the biggest thing since the gold rush; after months of trying to find just the right idea he settles on sending physical cards via the net. They launched in June 2000. Since then the dot com – well it came and went – again much like the gold rush. But Jeego continues to thrive having moved from physical cards to ecards, it now sells around the world - but it is still all about friendship and fun.
